Light fixture - A light fixture or lighting fixture is an electrical device used to create artificial light or illumination in architecture, theater and many other applications. A complete lighting fixture unit consists of the light source or lamp, the reflector for directing the light, an aperture (with or without a lens), the outer shell or housing for lamp alignment and protection, an electrical ballast, if required, and connection to a power source.
Soft light - Soft light is a type of stage lighting fixture that produces a very even, large, soft-beamed light output. The reflector is often quite large to reduce the hardness of any shadows, and light sources are often flourescent strips which has a very soft quality naturally.
Overdriven fluorescent light - Overdriving a fluorescent lamp is a method of getting more light from each tube than is normally obtained. It involves taking the light fixture apart and rewiring the insides.
Lighting fixture - A theatrical lighting fixture is any unit used to throw light during a performance. Mostly these consist of different lights suspended on rails above the stage and audience.
